About Coleman

About Coleman
Coleman’s obsession with fly fishing for inland and migratory trout started at a young age in his home waters of Tomahawk, Wisconsin. What began as a passion for finding trout close to home has grown into a relentless pursuit across the Midwest and Tennessee, often putting more than 30,000 miles a year on the road chasing the fish he loves.
Before pursuing guiding, Coleman worked in construction building homes and spent time in a machine shop. Eventually, his passion for fly fishing led him to work alongside local guides, where he began turning years of experience and time on the water into a career.
Whether you’re chasing your first quality trout or looking to take your skills to the next level, Coleman’s goal is to give you the knowledge and tools to become a better angler. From overlooked fundamentals to advanced tactics for targeting larger fish, every day on the water is an opportunity to learn something new.
Coleman will use his knowledge of the water, fish, and conditions to put you in the best possible position for success. But the goal goes beyond simply putting a fish in your hands. He wants you to leave each trip with a better understanding of the techniques, strategies, and decision-making that will continue to help you find success long after the day on the water is over.
